Boost Air advances its growth strategy with new facilities in Valencia

Madrid, 11 June 2026. Boost Air, the aviation company created through the integration of Gestair, Brok-air and ATS Aviation, has been awarded the contract to build and operate a new hangar at Valencia Airport. The award will enable the group to develop and operate new aviation facilities for the housing and maintenance of both its own aircraft and those of third parties.

The project is expected to create around 400 direct jobs once the development and operational plans for the facilities have been finalised. Total investment is expected to amount to €30 million.

The site awarded, covering more than 33,000 m² (of which 20,000 m² will be dedicated to the hangar and associated facilities), will complement the 12,000 m² new hangar currently planned at Madrid-Barajas Airport. As a result, Boost Air will have more than 80,000 m² of hangar space in the near term.

Valencia is a strategically important location, and this project will enable us to expand our capacity, strengthen our proximity to new customers and continue developing our integrated aviation services model,” said Miguel Ángel Morell, Chief Executive Officer of Boost Air.

The award will be formalised by means of a Public Deed, subject to mandatory registration in the Land Registry, in accordance with the terms governing the Surface Right agreement. The surface right will remain in force for a period of 20 years from the date of the Handover Certificate.

A new strategic location to support the group’s growth

This project will enable Boost Air to expand its infrastructure network across Spain, where it already operates facilities at key locations including Madrid-Barajas, Cuatro Vientos, Málaga-Costa del Sol and Castellón airports. With this award, Valencia becomes a new strategic hub in the group’s expansion plans, strengthening its industrial and operational capabilities.

The new facilities will be used for the housing of both the group’s own aircraft and those of third parties, as well as for aircraft maintenance activities. The project also includes the paving of an adjacent area for aircraft taxiing, parking and other operational activities associated with the hangar, excluding maintenance work in the outdoor area.

This project reinforces Boost Air’s growth strategy and consolidates the group’s positioning as a leading independent aviation industrial player in both the Spanish and international markets.
